News from the Bean

Hi there everyone, it's been a super long time, I know! There have been some big changes for me. I no longer sell at Go Digital Scrapbooking and June will be my last month as a designer at Inspiration Lane. I will be taking July off from DSO. My store will still be up at GDWI though. I am officially taking a break from digiscrap designing altogether. Last month I ended up in the ER with a horrible migraine and had to have a CT done. Luckily everything was fine and I am now on daily migraine meds, but since then my desire to do much of anything in Photoshop pretty much went away. So I knew it was time to take a step back. :) And then DH and I decided to buy our first house, which we're closing on in a few days. I'm so excited!! So July will be pretty much all about the new house. I can say that the night before last I finally started editing pictures again, and got my P365 stuff updated through April (yay!) which you can find at http://shannonsproject365.blogspot.com if you're interested. So that's at least a step toward doing something creative again, which is better than spending my unwind time on Facebook playing games, lol.

Anywho, for any of you who've been wondering what I'm what to, that's what. Taking a break. It's been pretty nice, and my DD no longer calls being at the computer "Mommy's big long job." So if I come back to designing, it'll be on my terms, and I'll be making what I want, when I want. And you guys will be the first to know, probably with a huge reopening sale and some freebies. :)

Random Mondays

So, I don’t know about you but most of the time I struggle with journaling on my pages.  And lately I have begun to wonder why that is.  I mean I talk all of the time, but when I write it down it just sounds lame to me.  If anyone has any suggestions to share with the class please leave a comment.  I would love to hear what you have to say.  The point of all that, is today’s Randomness actually made me stop and think. So without further ado….

Random Monday

Hi Beanies!  Did you miss me?  I let Shannon have the blog back last week to pass out all of those AWESOME freebies.  HeHeHe I hope you all had a wonderful NSD and Mother’s Day.  I personally had the best Mother’s Day to date, not one time-out was necessary all day!  LOL  So with children in mind, here is your tidbit for today: The average 4 year old will ask more than 400 questions in a single day.  Now this does not really surprise me, but it does make me wonder where I come up with 400 answers.  Gotta love that old classic “NO”.
